Few steps you can take to prepare your house

-Gather any important documents: It is a good idea to have copies of the roofing contract, building plans, and any relevant warranties or insurance documents on hand in case you need to refer to them during the roof installation process.

-Remove any outdoor items: Move any outdoor furniture, grills, or other items away from the area where the roof will be installed to give the contractors plenty of space to work.

-Trim tree branches: If you have any tree branches hanging over your roof, it is a good idea to trim them back to give the contractors clear access to the roof.

-Protect your landscaping: Cover any plants or shrubs near the house with plastic sheeting to protect them from debris that may fall during the roof installation process.

-Make arrangements for pets: If you have pets, it is a good idea to make arrangements for them to be kept elsewhere while the roof is being installed. The noise and activity of the construction process can be stressful for pets, and it is safer to keep them away from the work area.

-Prepare the inside of your home: Depending on the extent of the roofing work, you may need to move furniture or other items away from the walls or cover them with plastic to protect them from dust and debris. You may also want to close windows to help minimize the noise and disruption caused by the roof installation process.

-Communicate with your contractors: Make sure you have a clear understanding of the roof installation process, including the timeline, the materials being used, and any special considerations or requests you have. It is also a good idea to establish a point of contact with the contractors in case you have any questions or concerns during the project.
